The start of the 2008 King Salmon season is pretty slow.
May 23rd was our first day out with
only one fish landed. It was a dandy at a little over 50 pounds.
May 26th, nothing was landed. We saw only 3 fish landed all day on the river.
May 30th, 2 fish; one about 20 lbs.
May 31st, one fish landed, but nothing kept.
