If you check the News section of our website you will learn about both Kirsten and Bridget leaving Alaska this summer. Well, we have 2 new wonderful singers. Meet them at this years Concert. These women are so new to us that we donít even have formal pictures yet.

Elena Gonzales is a Freshman music student at UAA. Her father is an avid jazz fan and that means Elena grew up listening and singing standards. Itís given her a depth and maturity thatís uncommon for someone so young.

Rebecca Cloudy is also a music student at UAA. Rebecca grew up in Kodiak and has traveled some before returning to Alaska to study music. She has a beautiful clear voice and has taken an interest in the jazz masters. Sheís always wanted to sing jazz standards and we're glad to have her with us. Sheís fluent in French and can sing is other languages as well.

Joining us this year are:

Sarah Parsons- Piano. Sarah brings her incredible talent as a pianist to our show this year.  This is a special treat.

Al Plisousky- Vibraphone (or "vibes"). Al is bringing a special set of vibes from UAA and will be featured with Midnight Starlight.

Marie Raven- This is Marie's third year with us. We're very glad to have her back.

Meg Anderson-  Meg has performed around town with various groups, most recently with the all female group MAC.  Last year she showcased several of her original songs. This year her song "Queen of Ease" made honerable mention at APRN's Song of the Year Contest. Meg did the fabulous graphic artwork on our homepage. What a treat to have her back with us again this year.

Our newcomer this year is Cathrine (Cat) Coward.  A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Music, Cat has been singing nonprofessionally for years. Now the jazz bug has bitten her. She's really excited about performing in this years show.

Dave Stroh- Dave is back again as MC this year.  Most of you know him  as "Super Dave"  on KOOL-FM, Anchorage's  #1 daytime radio show .  Next year we're going to talk Dave into doing a song.

Please come join us for this magical evening.
