Christmas Concert

Midnight Starlight, invites you to join us for a holiday music celebration.  Celebrate with us. We would like to thank all of our patrons that supported us this year.

Tickets are available in advance for $15 at Metro Music and Books (907-279-8622) 530 E Benson Blvd. Tickets are also available at the door but seating is very limited!!.

We are performing our holiday concert on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. in the Steinway Piano Gallery - 637 A St (across the street from the Museum.)

Vocalist Elena Gonzales will perform modern and traditional Christmas tunes with a jazz flair and classy jazz standards. We will be bringing you some of your favorite Christmas classics and some of our favorites as well.

Elena Gonzales has finished her music studies at UAA and is back at school getting a degree in accounting.  Her father is an avid jazz fan and that means Elena grew up listening and singing standards.  It's given her a depth and maturity that's uncommon for someone so young.

Special Guests:

Tony James- Guitarist.  Tony James is an exciting player and a real asset to the program.  It's been a true pleasure having Tony play with us this year.

Corliss Kimmel -Drums and Percussion.  Corliss has been playing with us recently as much as her busy schedule will allow. She plays regularly with the Anchorage Symphony, Opera and a variety of programs at the Performing Arts Center.
