PIANO
I will teach you proven techniques. How to use both hands; how to improvise; how to understand universal ideas about music so you can create your own .  If you feel ready to move beyond traditional lessons, this is the course for you

GUITAR
This is the one area where I will be accepting beginning students. Starting with basic first position chords I will teach you finger and flat pick styles and will give you the skills to accompany yourself on popular songs.

For intermediate students I will show you the chords musicians use on stage and the common scales and special techniques  used in country, pop rock and blues music

PERFORMANCE

Singing is fun!
I have been teaching, training and mentoring singers from all walks of life in addition to the performers in my professional jazz group, Midnight Starlight. With  emphasis on performance I will show you how to breathe, stand, use a microphone and how to be at ease in front of an audience
