Description of the new antenna system:
Antennas: 2 Hygain 66dx - 6 element 24' boom - ( I wish I could go bigger!)
Mounted on a 21' horizontal cross-arm, the antennas are mounted so they
are vertically polarized - to reduce spurs from our local tv ch.2
array is mounted 55' agl. and fed with 7/8" andrews heliax.
AMP: running a pair of 3xc800's, 1500w
RIG: Yaesu FT-920, with a tunable cavity filter and a GaAsFet preamp
in the rx line.
